So, I've been trying to make a waterbottle holder all summer. Of course, now that I figured it out, summer is just about over. Ah well.
This is my first attempt. As you can see, the bottom is a total mess.

Ok, so knit/crochet didn't work out so well, how about straight knitting?
It's functional enough, but alas, it looks like crap.
